Investigators say the driver, Jeyson Carabantes-Deras, 25, allegedly overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll. A 6-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies determined Carabantes-Deras appeared intoxicated at the scene. After conducting DUI testing, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
