Jasper County on Alert: Fugitive Jordan Romero Sought for Theft and Robbery

Joplin, MO – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating Jordan Romero, 35, of Joplin, after he failed to appear in court for charges dating back to June 2024. He was previously arrested for second-degree robbery, possession of a controlled substance, and theft of telecommunications wire.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Romero is wanted on multiple felony warrants, including two for robbery and others for burglary, assault, and receiving stolen property. Romero was last apprehended in June but bonded out of jail and has been on probation since.

Sheriff Randee Kaiser asks residents to remain vigilant and report any information on Romero’s whereabouts immediately. The public is urged not to approach Romero and instead contact law enforcement. Romero is considered dangerous, with numerous charges still pending against him.
