Joplin, MO – A burglary investigation in Jasper County led to an arrest this week after detectives recovered thousands of dollars’ worth of allegedly stolen vintage items tied to a break-in reported on November 26.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division launched the inquiry after a victim reported a significant loss of collectible vintage goods. Through the work of lead investigator Detective Metscher, a suspect was identified as Samantha Oxford, 34, of Joplin.

As part of Operation Timeless Justice, deputies executed a search warrant on December 3 at Oxford’s residence in the 1600 block of S. Pearl Avenue in Joplin. During the search, detectives found most of the vintage items reported stolen in the burglary.
