Wheatfield, IN – In a response to a reported overdose on March 13th, Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered Ethan V. Stach, a 32-year-old Wheatfield resident, in possession of methamphetamine.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home near Wheatfield, where they found Stach conscious after being administered Narcan. Nearby, methamphetamine residue was reportedly found in a baggie at Stach’s feet and inside an orange pill bottle on a table. Despite refusing medical assistance, Stach was arrested and later taken to an area hospital for clearance before being booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

Stach now faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and a narcotic drug, both Level 6 felonies. It is important to remember that an arrest is not a conviction, and all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
