Jacksonville, FL – Cold, breezy conditions will grip parts of northeast and central Florida this morning, with another round of frost late tonight into Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service offices in Melbourne and Jacksonville.
Through this morning (Tuesday, Nov. 11):
A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect for Inland Volusia, Northern Lake, and Southern Lake until 9 a.m. (MLB) with wind chills as low as 24°F. A separate cold advisory continues for Duval and St. Johns (coastal and inland) and Coastal Flagler until 8 a.m. (JAX) with wind chills as low as 22–20°F in spots. Dress in layers, wear hats and gloves, and bring pets indoors.
Late tonight into Wednesday morning (Nov. 12):
A Frost Advisory is posted for Inland Volusia/Northern & Southern Lake from midnight to 8 a.m. Wednesday (temps near 34°F; frost formation likely). For Duval, St. Johns, and Flagler, a Frost Advisory runs 3–8 a.m. Wednesday with temps near 35°F along and just inland from the coast. Patchy to widespread frost could damage or kill sensitive plants if not protected.
