Jackson County, WI – A 20-year-old Black River Falls woman was arrested Tuesday morning following a reported stabbing that sent an adult victim to a local hospital, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Jackson County Communications Center received a call at approximately 4:54 a.m. Tuesday reporting an adult who had arrived at a local hospital with multiple stab wounds. Deputies launched an investigation to determine where the injuries occurred and who was involved.

Investigators determined the incident stemmed from an altercation between two adults at a residence on Sand Pillow Road in the Town of Brockway, located in Jackson County near Black River Falls. Authorities said the two individuals were reportedly fighting when one of them was armed with a kitchen knife.

During the altercation, the victim sustained non-life-threatening sharp force injuries, according to deputies. No additional victims were reported.

Deputies later located the other involved party, and an arrest was made. Kylene E.M. Cloud, age 20, of Black River Falls, was taken into custody and booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of Substantial Battery and Recklessly Endangering Safety.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information may be released as the case progresses.
