Oak Forest, IL – Chicago Gaelic Park’s beloved Irish Fest is set to return this summer, drawing thousands for a weekend of music, food, dance and heritage from August 22 to 24, 2025.
The multi-generational event, a mainstay in the Irish American community for over 35 years, will take place at 6119 147th Street in Oak Forest. Festivalgoers can expect a packed lineup of performances, cultural showcases, and family entertainment throughout the weekend.
According to organizers, gates will open Friday at 4 p.m. with performances running until 11 p.m. On Saturday, hours are 3 to 11 p.m., and Sunday’s festivities run from 1 to 8 p.m. Featured acts include Irish favorites Garron Noone, Ally the Piper, The Byrne Brothers, The Fenians, and Gaelic Brew, among others. Sunday’s lineup will also include a Mass at 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the music stages, the festival will offer an Irish Cultural Tent featuring workshops, an Irish Folk Park, and a performing arts stage. For families, an expanded Leprechaun Tent will provide children’s entertainment, and traditional Irish dance and bagpipe performances are scheduled throughout the weekend.
Festival staff also encourage vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to get involved, with contact emails available for each group.
With a full schedule of entertainment and community spirit, Irish Fest 2025 is expected to once again be a highlight of the summer for residents of Oak Forest and beyond.
