Davenport, Iowa – A dry and gradually warmer pattern is settling in across the Quad Cities region, offering a break from wintry precipitation as temperatures climb and clouds move in and out through the start of the week.

According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities office, a series of fast-moving storm systems will pass north of the area through Tuesday. While these systems will stay well removed from the region, they will influence cloud cover and bring breezy conditions at times, especially during the overnight hours. Daytime conditions are expected to remain dry.

High temperatures today will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s before warming significantly Monday and Tuesday. Highs will reach the 40s Monday, then climb into the upper 40s and 50s Tuesday across eastern Iowa and western Illinois, including Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, and Clinton.

Clouds are expected to increase at night as each system passes by, followed by partial clearing during the day. While winds ease during daylight hours, breezier conditions may return overnight, particularly in more exposed areas along the Mississippi River corridor.

Residents can expect favorable travel conditions through Tuesday, with no precipitation anticipated. The dry stretch is expected to continue into midweek, though changes may arrive later. Additional updates will be issued if the pattern shifts.
