According to the National Weather Service, a 90% chance of rain arrives Tuesday evening, with the possibility of thunderstorms and locally heavy downpours after 7 p.m. New rainfall amounts may exceed half an inch in some areas, especially near major roadways like I-235 and US-69. Drivers should plan for delays and potential ponding during the evening commute.

Sunday brings hazy sunshine and smoke in the air after 1 p.m., with highs near 86°F and light winds. Air quality may be impacted as wildfire smoke continues to drift from Canada.
