Winds will turn from the southeast to the north, signaling a gradual cooldown. Showers may begin Tuesday night into Wednesday, with a 30% chance of rain and slightly cooler highs in the lower 70s. Motorists traveling on I-74 or I-80 should expect slick spots and reduced visibility during peak morning hours Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will bring mostly sunny skies again, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80°F—ideal for outdoor plans, pumpkin patch trips, or fall leaf viewing. However, another round of showers could arrive late Friday into Saturday, followed by cooler weekend temperatures in the mid-60s.
