Residents along the Iowa-Illinois border can anticipate a milder Sunday, with temperatures reaching the low 50s, before experiencing notable temperature fluctuations in the days ahead.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will see increasing cloud cover, with highs around 41°F (5°C) and southeast winds between 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Saturday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with lows near 34°F (1°C) and south winds at 5 to 15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph.  

On Sunday, the region will experience mostly sunny skies, with temperatures rising to approximately 53°F (12°C). Winds will shift from the south to the west at around 5 mph in the afternoon. Sunday night will bring increasing cloudiness, with lows around 31°F (-1°C).  

Monday’s forecast predicts partly sunny conditions, with highs near 43°F (6°C), followed by mostly cloudy skies Monday night and lows around 21°F (-6°C).  

Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with highs near 36°F (2°C), while Tuesday night will remain cloudy, with lows around 27°F (-3°C).  

Looking ahead to Wednesday, there is a 40% chance of rain after noon, with mostly cloudy skies and highs near 42°F (6°C). Wednesday night continues with a 40% chance of rain and lows around 24°F (-4°C).
