Davenport, IA – Iowans can look forward to cooler and quieter weather this week. Today, partly cloudy skies are expected with afternoon high temperatures ranging from 80 to 87 degrees. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the upper 50s to upper 60s, offering a respite from the recent heat.

According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities Iowa/Illinois, the rest of the week will bring plenty of sunshine and milder conditions. Wednesday’s temperatures will range from 75 to 82 degrees, with overnight lows dropping to 53 to 60 degrees. Thursday is expected to be slightly cooler, with highs between 77 and 80 degrees and nighttime temperatures from 55 to 60 degrees. By Friday, temperatures will settle between 77 and 79 degrees during the day and 57 to 61 degrees at night.

Air quality remains good, with an index of 38, similar to the previous day. This week’s weather is ideal for outdoor activities, with low humidity and gentle winds enhancing comfort.
