Quad Cities, IA/IL – Skies will clear across the Quad Cities region tonight, sending temperatures into the low to mid-40s and setting the stage for a warmer Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, clouds will gradually diminish by late evening, allowing overnight lows to settle between 41° and 45°. Conditions will remain dry and mostly clear into the early morning hours.

Friday will bring a noticeable shift as daytime highs climb into the mid to upper 60s, with some areas reaching 70°. Mostly sunny skies will dominate the first half of the day, although patchy clouds could move in by late afternoon. Winds are expected to stay light, contributing to a comfortable spring day.

Residents in Davenport, Rock Island, and surrounding areas can expect ideal weather for outdoor activities or travel. However, cooler mornings may still require a light jacket. Drivers should remain alert for minor morning visibility issues due to lingering dew.

Clear skies and mild conditions are expected to hold through the weekend, but updates will be issued if any systems begin tracking into the region.
