Indianapolis, IN – Central Indiana will experience a stretch of quiet but breezy fall weather this week, with a few isolated showers possible tonight and gusty winds developing midweek, according to the US National Weather Service Indianapolis.

Today will stay mostly sunny and mild, with highs in the low to upper 60s and light southwest breezes. A 20–30% chance of light rain arrives tonight, mainly north of Indianapolis, as a weak disturbance moves through the area.

By Tuesday and Wednesday, windy conditions are expected to return, with gusts up to 35 mph possible. Highs will cool into the upper 50s to low 60s Tuesday and dip further to the low 50s by Wednesday, signaling a firm return to autumn temperatures.

Thursday will remain cool but dry, with highs near 60°F and overnight lows in the 30s and low 40s. The weather service says no significant rainfall or severe weather is expected this week.

Residents can expect crisp, breezy afternoons and chilly nights, ideal for late-fall outdoor activities.
