Indianapolis, IN – Mostly dry and mild conditions will continue across central Indiana through Monday before rain chances rise by Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
Forecasters report that skies will stay mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the upper 30s to upper 40s, followed by a dry and seasonable Sunday featuring highs in the low to mid-60s. A few light sprinkles or showers may develop late Sunday night into Monday, primarily across south-central Indiana.
By Tuesday, a more organized weather system is expected to move into the region, bringing increasing rain chances and slightly cooler daytime highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. While exact timing and totals remain uncertain, forecasters expect the rain to continue into midweek.
Motorists and commuters should be prepared for slick roads and lower visibility during Tuesday’s morning and evening drives if rain bands become widespread.
