Indianapolis, IN – Central Indiana will enjoy a bright and breezy Halloween Friday before cooler air and a slight chance of light rain return late Saturday, according to the US National Weather Service Indianapolis IN.
Forecasters say today’s highs will reach the mid-50s to near 60°F, with winds between 10–15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph making for a crisp fall day. Winds will ease overnight, setting up mostly calm and dry conditions into Saturday.
Saturday’s temperatures will dip slightly, topping out near 52–56°F, with overnight lows falling into the upper 30s to near 40°F. A few light showers may develop late Saturday night into Sunday morning, though rainfall amounts are expected to be minimal.
By Sunday and Monday, highs will climb back toward the upper 50s and low 60s, with partly sunny skies and continued mild weather to start next week.
The National Weather Service reports this weekend marks one of the region’s last mild stretches before colder air returns next week.
