Indianapolis Traffic Alert: Major Lane Closures on I-465 Northbound Starting August 11

Indianapolis, IN – Starting on or after Sunday, August 11, significant roadwork will affect drivers on I-465 northbound in Marion County. Crews are set to restrict the two right lanes of I-465 northbound between I-70 and U.S. 36. These restrictions are expected to cause delays and impact commutes for Indianapolis drivers.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the following ramps will also face restrictions during the construction period:

•   I-70 westbound to I-465 northbound
•   I-465 northbound to Sam Jones Expressway
•   Sam Jones Expressway to I-465 northbound
•   I-465 northbound to U.S. 40
