Indianapolis Police Seek Public’s Help After Church Vandalized with Graffiti

Indianapolis, IN – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a vandalism incident at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on Indianapolis’ west side.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Southwest District, the church, a bus, and a storage shed at 1301 N Goodlet Avenue were defaced with graffiti around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Officers were alerted to the incident and have since launched an investigation.

Photos released by IMPD show extensive spray-painted markings on the church’s property, including the bus and building exterior. Investigators are seeking any information that could lead to those responsible.
