Indianapolis Police Nab Juvenile Carjacking Suspects, Recover Stolen Vehicle Within an Hour

Indianapolis, IN – IMPD North District officers arrested three juvenile suspects and recovered a stolen vehicle early Tuesday.

Around 1:26 a.m., officers responded to a gas station on the 3200 block of North Central Avenue following a reported carjacking. The victim reported that five individuals approached him. Two wielded handguns, and three wore masks. They took his driver’s license, cell phone, and $100 cash before fleeing in his vehicle. Fortunately, the victim escaped without injuries.

Within an hour, officers located the vehicle on the 3100 block of Meadows Drive. They saw five males exiting an apartment complex and approached for questioning. The suspects fled on foot. However, officers apprehended three suspects who the victim identified. Authorities found the victim’s license on one suspect, and $800 cash inside the car.
