Central Indiana residents should prepare for a significant warming trend this weekend, with temperatures expected to soar into the 90s by Monday. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has forecasted highs of 83-85°F on Saturday, 86-89°F on Sunday, and a scorching 88-92°F on Monday. The UV Index will remain in the Very High category through Monday, emphasizing the need for sunscreen and protective measures against sun exposure.

According to the National Weather Service, dew points will remain in the low 60s, limiting the overall heat impact but maintaining warm conditions. Saturday and Sunday will be predominantly sunny, with clear skies and no precipitation expected. Monday may see a chance of late-day thunderstorms, although the primary concern will be the heat and UV levels.

The hourly forecast predicts a steady rise in temperatures throughout the weekend, peaking in the early afternoons. Nighttime temperatures will provide little relief, staying in the mid-60s. The air quality index remains good, with no significant concerns.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week, Tuesday may bring some relief with scattered showers and temperatures around 85°F. Cooler temperatures are expected on Wednesday with highs around 81°F. However, another warming trend is possible towards the end of the week.
