Northern Indiana – After a stretch of dry and seasonable weather, rain chances are set to return midweek, according to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.
Tuesday will stay mostly sunny and breezy, with east winds of 15–25 mph and highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Clouds increase tonight ahead of an approaching system.
A few showers may develop Wednesday, mainly south of U.S. 24, with more widespread rain possible Wednesday night into Thursday, especially along and east of I-69. The greatest chances are forecast across northwest Ohio.
By Friday, cooler air will settle in with highs in the low 50s and scattered lake-enhanced rain showers likely.
Forecasters say temperatures will trend below normal heading into the weekend as the region transitions to a cooler, unsettled pattern.
