Northern Indiana – The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana is warning of a windy, colder weather pattern taking hold on Wednesday, with rain changing to snow as a cold front sweeps through the region.
Today will remain cloudy and misty with light rain and above-normal highs near 50–56°F. Tonight turns breezy and colder, with lows dipping into the 30s.
By Wednesday morning, falling temperatures will shift rain to wet snow, particularly north of U.S. Route 6, where minor accumulations up to 1–2 inches are possible by Thanksgiving morning.
Motorists are urged to watch for slick spots and reduced visibility during the rain-to-snow transition. Travel delays are possible, especially for holiday travelers heading north or west.
