South Bend, IN – A brief round of snow is expected today across parts of Northern Indiana as colder air moves in. High temperatures will range from 34°F to 50°F, with up to an inch of snow possible near Lake Michigan, especially in Berrien and LaPorte counties.
According to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana, snowfall will taper off to the south and east as the system moves out later today. Dry and warmer conditions will return Monday and Tuesday, with highs climbing to 47-53°F on Monday and 64-68°F on Tuesday. Overnight lows will remain cold, dropping to the mid-20s Monday morning before warming up to the mid-30s by Tuesday night. Breezy conditions are expected by midweek.
Residents should prepare for slick roads this morning, especially in areas receiving snow accumulation. However, no significant travel disruptions are expected as the precipitation moves out quickly.
