Indianapolis, IN – Residents enjoying Veterans Day outdoor activities today will see sunny skies with a high near 61°F. However, temperatures will shift as cooler air moves in tonight, signaling a dip into seasonal norms and bringing changes by midweek.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service Indianapolis, a partly cloudy night is expected tonight, with temperatures dropping to a low around 37°F. Winds from the northwest could gust up to 21 mph, creating a brisk evening. On Tuesday, the area will experience mostly sunny conditions with a high of 52°F, complemented by gentle east winds up to 9 mph. By Tuesday night, temperatures will fall to 38°F as clouds persist.

Looking ahead, residents should prepare for a slight chance of showers on Wednesday afternoon, especially after 1 p.m., with temperatures climbing to around 59°F. Winds could reach 18 mph at times, adding a chill to the air. Rain is expected to intensify Wednesday night, with an 80% chance of precipitation and potential accumulations between a quarter and half an inch.

Thursday brings a 30% chance of morning showers, followed by partly sunny skies with highs near 56°F. Friday is forecasted to be drier, featuring mostly sunny conditions and a high of 58°F.
