Indiana Traffic Alert: I-70 Westbound Closed for Five Hours After Injury Crash

Pendleton, IN – Interstate 70 westbound is currently closed at the 120 mile marker following a crash involving injuries. The Indiana State Police announced that the interstate is expected to be shut down for approximately five hours while crews work to clear vehicles and debris.

According to the Indiana State Police Pendleton District, traffic is being diverted onto State Road 3 at the 123 exit. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area to prevent further congestion. The diversion is necessary to facilitate emergency response teams and ensure the safety of both the public and the personnel working at the scene.
