Indiana State Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Vehicle in I-65 Interstate Shooting

Jasper County, IN – Indiana State Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a vehicle involved in an October interstate shooting.

On Oct. 24, around 12:30 a.m., Trooper Jordin Rosillo responded to reports of a shooting on I-65. The incident occurred southbound at Exit 230 near Demotte/Roselawn. Dashcam footage revealed the suspect vehicle as an older-model Dodge Charger, approximately a 2010.

The Charger has noticeable front-end damage and two black racing stripes on its front quarter panels. It also features square rear tail lights, distinguishing it from newer models.

According to police, the suspect fired shots at another vehicle before fleeing the scene. A screenshot from dashcam footage was released to assist the investigation.

Indiana State Police urge anyone with information about the vehicle or its owner to contact Trooper Rosillo at 219-696-6242.

Authorities stress the importance of public assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle to move the investigation forward.
