Indiana State Line Collision: Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Near Calumet Avenue Halts Thursday Traffic

Lowell, IN – A severe crash involving a semi-truck and another vehicle occurred Thursday afternoon around 1:30 pm on I-80 eastbound near Calumet Avenue, at the Indiana-Illinois border. 

Indiana State Police are actively investigating the incident, which may have resulted in a fatality. The collision has led to a complete blockage of the affected lanes, and authorities are urging drivers to find alternative routes.
