Farther east, the NWS Pittsburgh office expects 6 to 10 inches across eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia through 1 p.m. Sunday, noting the potential for localized higher totals within stronger snow bands.
Additional warnings extend north and south of the primary corridor, covering portions of West Virginia with expected totals ranging from 4 to 10 inches and extended timing for higher-elevation areas through late Sunday and early Monday. The NWS reports that visibility may fall below a quarter mile in heavier bursts, while bridges and overpasses may become slick quickly.
