Fort Wayne, IN – The upcoming week in northern Indiana, particularly along I-70, promises to be both hot and stormy, with temperatures soaring and regular chances of thunderstorms. The National Weather Service Northern Indiana reports that highs will climb to the upper 80s and around 90 degrees, with heat indices potentially reaching 100 degrees at times.

According to the forecast, today will see increasing humidity with temperatures ranging between 81-85°F. By Saturday, expect very warm and humid conditions with highs from 85-88°F and a slight chance of storms. The weather on Sunday will be particularly hot and humid, with temperatures peaking between 87-91°F and a higher likelihood of strong storms.

As the new week begins, Monday’s forecast indicates continued hot and humid conditions, with highs possibly hitting 92°F and more storms on the horizon. Tuesday remains very warm and humid, with temperatures from 83-88°F and a good chance of thunderstorms. However, relief is expected midweek as cooler temperatures return on Wednesday, with highs dropping to 75-79°F. By Thursday, the weather will be seasonably cool, with temperatures ranging from 76-79°F.
