Ernest Borough, PA – A McIntyre man wanted on arson and related charges has been taken into custody following a search by Pennsylvania State Police Troop A, Indiana, according to an update released by PSP.

Steven R. Marsh, 37, was arrested in Indiana County with assistance from the Indiana County Drug Task Force, the PSP Vice/Narcotics Unit, and the PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Police said Marsh was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Indiana County Jail pending a preliminary arraignment.

The arrest follows an investigation into an early-morning October 10 incident in which Marsh allegedly kicked in the basement door of a woman’s home in Ernest Borough, set fire to a couch inside, and then fled the scene.
