Indiana, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are searching for 39-year-old Jacob Shane Penrose, who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery reported Wednesday evening in Creekside Borough.
According to PSP Troop A, Penrose allegedly robbed a 27-year-old man around 6:50 p.m. on September 17, 2025, while attempting to purchase a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle valued at $3,500. Police said Penrose allegedly displayed a revolver, aimed it at the victim, and then fled on the motorcycle.
While on the phone with police, the victim followed Penrose in his vehicle, updating dispatchers until losing sight of him near Old Route 56 and West Lebanon Road in Armstrong Township. The victim also reported that Penrose had dropped the firearm during the pursuit.
Troopers later located the stolen motorcycle on a hillside along West Lebanon Road and recovered the revolver, which was found unloaded. Despite an extensive search involving multiple PSP patrol units, a K9 team, and the Indiana County Emergency Management Agency, Penrose was not located.
Penrose, who has ties to Indiana, PA, is described as a white male, about 6’03” tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on the front of his neck. He was last seen wearing a black cut-off t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police have filed charges including robbery, theft, and possessing instruments of crime. Anyone with information about Penrose’s whereabouts is asked to contact Troop A at 724-357-1960.
