Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana will experience another cold evening before temperatures warm significantly at the start of the workweek.

The National Weather Service reports that lows tonight will drop to between 16 and 20 degrees. Sunday will see highs of 24 to 28 degrees, accompanied by increasing winds late in the day. By Monday, highs will climb to 33–38 degrees as gusty southwest winds usher in warmer air. Clouds will also increase throughout Monday.

Residents are urged to prepare for continued breezy conditions tonight through Sunday and dress warmly for cold evenings. Drivers should remain cautious of icy patches on less-traveled roads during the overnight hours.

The warming trend into Monday will provide relief, making outdoor activities more manageable. Forecasters anticipate temperatures to remain seasonable into next week.
