Chicago, IL – A pleasant weather pattern will dominate the region through early next week, bringing mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Today’s high will range from 79°F to 84°F, with cooler conditions near Lake Michigan. Northwestern Indiana faces a high swim risk through at least Saturday, urging beachgoers to exercise caution.

According to the US National Weather Service, Friday will be breezy with highs between 71°F and 75°F and continuing high swim risks. The weekend promises consistent warmth, with Saturday’s highs reaching 73°F to 76°F and Sunday slightly cooler at 76°F to 80°F.

Northwestern Indiana beaches will remain under high swim risk conditions throughout the weekend. Overnight lows will vary, with Friday night temperatures dropping to between 51°F and 57°F and Saturday night ranging from 52°F to 59°F.

Monday will maintain the trend of pleasant weather, with highs from 77°F to 81°F and cooler temperatures near the lake. Beachgoers should remain vigilant, as high swim risks are expected to continue, especially in the mornings.
