The real threat begins Thursday night, when thunderstorms and a possible isolated thunderstorm are forecast before 10 p.m., followed by a continued chance through early Friday morning. South-southeast winds up to 35 mph are also expected during the peak storm period.

Friday offers a brief break after 1 p.m. as conditions turn partly sunny and unusually warm for mid-April, reaching a high near 78°F. However, more rain and thunderstorms could return Friday night with a 60% chance of precipitation continuing into early Saturday.
