Braidwood, IL – A section of Route 113 between Gray Road and Irish Lane is closed due to a large brush fire, according to emergency officials.
The Braidwood Fire Department, with assistance from multiple mutual aid agencies, is working to contain the fire, which has spread along the roadway. Authorities have not provided an estimated time for reopening.
According to Braidwood ESDA, the fire is affecting visibility and creating hazardous driving conditions in the area. Drivers are advised to avoid the area or use caution when traveling nearby.
