Wilmette, IL – Illinois State Police (ISP) are seeking the public’s help in investigating a fatal crash on the Edens Expressway. A 35-year-old man died after a single-vehicle crash near Lake Avenue.
ISP responded to the crash on Interstate 94 westbound at 7 a.m. on January 7. Officers found the vehicle wrecked, and emergency responders transported the driver to a hospital. He later died from his injuries.
Police are asking drivers who witnessed the crash or have dash camera footage to come forward. Witnesses can submit tips online at ISP Tips or call ISP Troop 3 at 847-294-4400.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash. No additional details are available at this time.
