Illinois State Police Activate Endangered Missing Person Advisory for Carbondale Man

Carbondale, IL – Authorities are urgently seeking the public’s help to locate Linell Gaston, 27, described as an endangered missing person. 

According to the Illinois State Police, acting on a request from the Carbondale Police Department, an advisory has been issued following Gaston’s disappearance. He was last seen on March 25th at around 10:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of South Wall St in Carbondale. Gaston is a Black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, with a bald head. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ripped jeans, and black Balenciaga shoes at the time of his disappearance. 

Authorities note that Mr. Gaston has a condition that places him in danger. The Carbondale Police Department urges anyone with information on Gaston’s whereabouts to contact them at 618-457-3200 or dial 9-1-1 immediately.
