BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – This autumn, the Betty and Kenneth Hawkins Centennial Chapel at Olivet Nazarene University will reverberate with the soulful melodies of the Ruffatti pipe organ.

Dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ovid Young, a cherished Olivet alumnus and globally-acclaimed performer, the Ovid Young Memorial Concert Series promises attendees an unparalleled musical experience.

Highlighting the organ’s vast capabilities, the lineup includes:

  • The internationally renowned Allesandro Bianchi from Lugano, Switzerland, on November 20.

The series stands as a testament to Dr. Young’s illustrious career as a pianist, organist, and composer, whose artistry resonated in concert halls and sanctuaries around the globe. In the chapel, attendees can appreciate the majestic 125-rank pipe organ, showcasing 75 ranks of Ruffatti handmade pipes.
