A Channahon man, Jonathan Middono, 34, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to the murder of a 10-week-old baby.
The tragic incident occurred in 2019 when the infant was brought to a hospital suffering from blunt force trauma to the head and later died.
According to the investigation, the child was injured while under the care of her parents at a Crest Hill hotel. Middono, who must serve 100 percent of his sentence, was determined to be responsible for the infant’s fatal injuries.
