Evansville, IN – Light snow is expected to move through parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and southeast Missouri late Monday night into Tuesday morning, potentially creating slippery road conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, KY, snowfall accumulations of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible, particularly along and north of the Ohio River. While warm ground temperatures may prevent significant accumulation on major roads, untreated surfaces and bridges could become slick.

Cities impacted include Evansville, Owensboro, Paducah, Carbondale, and Cape Girardeau. Commuters should prepare for possible delays early Tuesday.

Residents are advised to monitor local forecasts for updates and exercise caution while traveling, especially on untreated roads. More updates are expected Monday as the system develops.
