Bourbonnais, IL – The 50th Annual Bourbonnais Friendship Festival kicks off today, offering five days of music, food, family fun, and community celebration at the festival grounds behind the Bourbonnais Municipal Center.

Today’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the carnival opening and a “Friends Night Special” offering two rides for the price of one. Opening ceremonies, bingo, and live music from Hillbilly Rockstarz are also on the schedule.

The festival will feature daily entertainment, including tribute bands covering the music of Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Tina Turner, and Chicago.
