Palos Heights, IL – Fresh produce, homemade goods, and community spirit return to the southwest suburbs next month as the Palos Heights Farmers Market kicks off its 2025 season.
According to the Palos Heights Parks & Recreation Department, the market will open Wednesday, May 7, and continue weekly through October 8, running every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 12217 S. Harlem Ave. Organizers noted there will be no market held on Wednesday, July 2.
The seasonal market will feature local vendors offering farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, ready-to-eat food, artisanal products, and specialty goods. Shoppers can browse stalls from a variety of small businesses while enjoying the open-air setting.
The market is open to the public and does not require admission, welcoming anyone to stop by and support regional growers and creators.
Weekly market days will include May 14, 21, and 28 in the opening month, and continue with June dates set for the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. July dates will include every Wednesday except the 2nd, per organizers.
The event is hosted by the City of Palos Heights in partnership with local sponsors and aims to foster community engagement while promoting healthy, sustainable food sources.
