Plainfield Township, IL – A mental health crisis in a Plainfield Township neighborhood led to a temporary shelter-in-place order and school bus delays this afternoon before deputies were able to safely resolve the situation.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 3:15 p.m. to the 23300 block of Grinton Drive after reports of an individual experiencing a mental health crisis.
