Bourbonnais, IL – Residents across Bourbonnais and the greater Kankakee County area have a festive new community event to take part in as the sixth annual Very Merry Coloring Contest opens this week. The free holiday activity is available to village residents of all ages, with entries accepted now through Monday, December 15 at 4:30 p.m.

According to the Village of Bourbonnais, participants can download and print the official coloring page from villageofbourbonnais.com or pick up copies at the Administration Building at 600 Main St. NW during weekday business hours. All submissions must be completed on the approved 8.5” x 11” sheet.

The contest features four categories: Ages 6 & Under, Ages 7–10, All Ages/Family, and Special Needs. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each group, and winners will be notified directly. Judges are not permitted to enter.
