According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Lincoln, IL, widespread fog will persist through Friday morning, particularly along the I-72 and I-57 corridors. Rain is expected throughout the day, with improving visibility by mid-morning. Temperatures will hover around 49°F, with winds shifting northwest in the afternoon.

With fluctuating temperatures and lingering moisture, fog could redevelop overnight. Drivers are urged to use caution, reduce speed, and use low-beam headlights.
