Boise, ID – Southwest Idaho residents can expect sunny skies and unseasonably warm weather through the end of the week, with the warmest conditions arriving Wednesday and Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service Boise, Treasure Valley cities including Boise, Caldwell, Meridian, and Nampa will see highs climb into the mid-80s on Wednesday, September 24, and Thursday, September 25. Mountain Home is forecast to peak even higher, reaching 87°F on Wednesday and 88°F on Thursday.

The forecast shows most lower valley locations holding in the 80s through the weekend, with slightly cooler readings in mountain areas such as McCall, Stanley, and Sun Valley. Highs in these higher elevations will range from the upper 60s to mid-70s, offering a mild but comfortable stretch for late September.

Forecasters note the weather pattern will stay mostly dry and stable, meaning good travel conditions across the Treasure Valley and central Idaho mountains. By Monday, September 29, temperatures are expected to cool slightly, dropping back into the upper 70s and low 80s across much of the region.

The sunny forecast could also extend fire danger concerns as dry weather lingers. Residents planning outdoor activities should stay hydrated and be mindful of fire safety during this warm spell.
