Boise, ID – Rain showers will move into Boise late Monday night, but drier, sunnier conditions are expected by midweek. Residents should prepare for wet roads and reduced visibility during the overnight hours.

According to the National Weather Service, a 40% chance of rain is expected after 11 p.m. Monday, with partly cloudy skies and a low near 37°F. Winds will be light but could pick up slightly overnight. On Tuesday, Boise will see partly sunny skies with a high of 52°F. Winds from the west may reach up to 11 mph, with occasional gusts as high as 21 mph.

Looking ahead, Wednesday will bring sunny conditions with a high near 56°F, followed by a chilly but clear night with temperatures dipping to 31°F. Thursday remains mostly sunny, warming up to 59°F during the day and dropping to 33°F overnight. By Friday, temperatures will hover around 57°F with mostly sunny skies.

Drivers should be cautious during the late-night rain, especially on I-84 and other major roadways. Wet pavement and potential fog could make for slippery conditions early Tuesday morning. Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time and use headlights for increased visibility.

This week’s warming trend will offer a pleasant end to February, making for great conditions to enjoy outdoor activities later in the week. Stay tuned for updates on any potential weekend weather changes.
