St. Petersburg, FL – Hurricane Milton brought intense rainfall across Florida, with some areas receiving over 18 inches of rain. The storm’s impact, which began Sunday evening and lasted through Tuesday morning, has left parts of the state flooded and residents on alert.

According to the NOAA Weather Prediction Center, St. Petersburg recorded the highest rainfall, with 18.87 inches. Baskin followed with 17.19 inches, while Ormond Beach reported 16.04 inches. Communities are closely monitoring water levels as heavy rains continue to affect road conditions and drainages.

Authorities have urged residents in affected areas to stay vigilant for possible flooding. The storm has hit major airports, including Tampa International, which reported 11.73 inches of rain, and Orlando Executive, with 6.87 inches.
