Huntsville, AL – Rainy conditions will move through northern Alabama today, followed by several days of sunshine and warming temperatures, according to the National Weather Service in Huntsville.

Forecasters report medium to high chances (40–80%) of showers Sunday, with a low chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures will stay cool, ranging from 52 to 58 degrees, before dropping into the mid-30s and 40s overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, dry weather returns Monday and is expected to continue through much of next week. Highs will gradually climb from the low 60s Monday to the low 70s by Wednesday and Thursday, signaling a mild and pleasant stretch ahead for the region.

No major weather systems are expected after today’s rain moves out, giving North Alabama a quiet start to the new week. Residents are encouraged to use caution during any morning or midday downpours before skies begin to clear tonight.
