Huntsville, AL – Dry and unseasonably warm weather will continue through much of Monday across north Alabama, with highs reaching the upper 60s to lower 70s. Overnight lows stay mild as well, ranging from 41–44 degrees Sunday night and 53–58 degrees Monday night.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, rain and thunderstorms return Tuesday as a strong system moves across the region. Rain chances jump to 80–100%, and forecasters are monitoring the potential for a few stronger storms late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Widespread severe weather is not guaranteed, but the setup bears watching with increasing moisture and wind shear.

Tuesday’s highs will run between 67–71 degrees, making it another warm day before colder air moves in behind the system. By Wednesday, much drier conditions take over with highs falling to 57–62 degrees, along with low rain chances around 10–15% early in the day.

Thanksgiving Day will be cooler but dry, featuring highs in the upper 40s to low 50s and morning lows down into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees—a notable shift from the springlike warmth early in the week.

The holiday weekend begins calm, allowing travelers and outdoor plans to proceed without weather-related concerns aside from the cooler temperatures.
